Since launching its first outlet in Milton Keynes in 2008, 360 Play has gone on to develop a network of family entertainment centres around the UK – and in the process become one of the nation’s leading FEC brands.

To mark a decade of family fun, visitors to all six (soon to be seven) sites will be offered a variety of special activities and events during September. The design of all 360 Play sites is carried out by DP Associates (DPA), sister company to operator DP Leisure.

The content at each centre follows what has become a tried and tested formula, offering a wide range of activities for children from toddlers up to the age of 12. Among the key offerings are a multi-storey play structure, family bumper cars and a carousel.

The 360 Street creative play zone is also a major feature, made up of individual play units such as a fire station, supermarket, pizza parlour, vets, car garage/body shop and dressing up shop. This role play and free play element is designed to stimulate creativity in young minds, while also providing an opportunity for parents to get involved in play with their children. Party zones and outdoor areas are also offered at some sites.

“It’s hard to believe that 2018 will be our 10th year of operation since we opened our first site in Milton Keynes in 2008,” says managing director Duncan Phillips. “We’ve come a long way since then, having entertained millions of visitors and developed a successful product even further with many new design features, play elements and facilities. It’s been an exciting journey so far.”

360 Play Milton Keynes remains the flagship centre, joined by outlets in Basildon, Farnborough, Leicester, Redditch and Stevenage.

Anniversary activities during September will include a Twizzle and Twirl (the 360 Play mascots) talent contest, commemorative stone painting and the creation of time capsules in the 360 Play messy play area.
