Cinepolis USA, a leading developer of movie theatre concepts, has announced the debut of the nation’s first dedicated children’s movie theatre auditoriums, Cinepolis Junior.

Revolutionising the cinema experience, Cinépolis Junior offers families a space to enjoy a movie-going experience in an environment that caters to children, unlike anything the US has seen before.

The playful rooms will offer families a new and entertaining way to connect through one-of-a-kind spaces designed with children in mind. The first two Cinepolis Junior auditoriums will open on March 16, at Cinepolis Pico Rivera and Cinepolis Vista in Southern California.

Each standout auditorium will offer a dedicated play area, featuring bright and colourful play structures, vibrant decor and comfortable seating alternatives, such as colourful bean bag-like seating and lounge chairs.

Both Cinepolis Junior auditoriums will screen child-friendly films seven days a week.

“The opportunity to introduce Cinepolis Junior and what it represents – a new way to help loved ones come together and enjoy the arts – to the US market is an honour,” said the company’s CEO, Adrian Mijares Elizondo.

“As the entertainment industry continues to evolve, we are pleased to be a pioneer and continue our innovation in the exhibitor space with our newest theatre concept. To help new guests fall in love with movies is our goal, and to do it in a way that caters to every need is our mission.”
