Swimplex Aquatics, experts in the design and manufacturing of aqua attractions and the Australian partner of Polin Waterparks, have been busy of late, kitting out waterparks in Australia with exciting new waterslides to help pull in visitors.

A new 20-metre tall slide tower has been erected at Aquatopia Waterpark in Prairiewood, New South Wales. The 3-Lane Racing Ride is double the size of the park’s existing slides.

This vibrantly-coloured slide tower uses Swimplex Aquatics’ signature RTM Resin Transfer Moulding technology, which gives all its slides a ‘magic shine’ inside and out.

Another project Swimplex has been busy with was the installation of a blue ‘looping rocket’ with a mind-blowing drop at the Cockburn Aquatic and Recreation Centre in Cockburn Central.

With state-of-the-art aquatic and recreational facilities, the Cockburn aquatic and Recreation Centre is one of the largest developments of its kind in Australia, and Swimplex’s ‘looping rocket’ and ‘aqua tube’ will undoubtedly augment the park’s appeal.

The Splash Aqua Park and Leisure Centre in Craigieburn has also had a ‘Swimplex makeover’, with two Swimplex slides standing at a lofty 14 metres tall. One of the slides reaches speeds of approximately 50km/h, as thrill-seekers are plunged into total darkness as they twist, turn and loop down an exhilarating drop.

Hot on Splash Aqua Park’s heels in the white-knuckle stakes is BIG4 Sandstone Point Holiday Resort in Sandstone Point, Queensland. The park’s new Splash Pad features an 800L tipping bucket, five water slides and more than 50 interactive elements on the water play structure.

Guests visiting North Star Holiday Resort in Hastings Point, New South Wales are also in for a treat, with the erection of two new 8.2-metre high tubular water slides, which take water thrill-seekers on an invigorating ride as they spiral down more than 60 metres into poolside landing platforms below.
