Consistently named one of the top US waterparks, Six Flags White Water in Georgia, US, has announced the opening of the all-new Wahoo Racer waterslide.

The high-thrill, multi-lane water slide complex is purportedly the largest in the world and adds to the park’s existing line-up of more than 50 slides and attractions.

The two-tiered mat slider sends racers through an intense, snake-like stretch and then onto track-like style sprinting lanes. Wahoo Racer features a tower standing at 60ft, speeds of up to 40ft per second, 7,200ft of translucent waterslide tubing and six aero-dynamically designed water toboggans.

“We are thrilled to debut Wahoo Racer, an exhilarating water slide for the entire family to race against one another to see who reigns supreme,” said Dale Kaetzel, president of Six Flags’ Atlanta properties.

“The benefits of a 2016 combo season pass or membership to Six Flags Atlanta Properties just got better with the addition of Wahoo Racer and the expanded 2016 operating calendar.”

Six Flags White Water is now open for the 2016 season, and this year the waterpark has added 11 operating days across September and October.
