AMF Bowling Centers, the world’s largest owner and operator of bowling centres, has signed a multi-year renewal contract for the Kronos hiring solution.

Since 2006, AMF has leveraged the Kronos’ workforce management solution to improve the quality and productivity of its 9,000 employees within 302 bowling centres.

Prior to using Kronos, AMF had a totally manual, paper-based hiring process whereby candidates had to go into a centre and fill out a paper application.

"AMF was not getting the volume of applications it felt it should, and managers were spending too much time on hiring that would be better spent managing their centre," the company said.

"With Kronos, the pool of applicants is bigger and better. The time to fill an open position has been reduced significantly and the company is already recognizing labour cost savings and increased productivity."
