The new digital art centre of Culturespaces is in the final phase of preparations for opening its new exhibition of Fabrique des Lumières.

The art attraction will open in Amsterdam on 22 April 2022.

Located in the historic former gas plant of Westergasfabriek, built in 1885 by the Imperial Continental Gas Association, the cultural attraction will use the latest technology to create immersive exhibitions curated by the most celebrated figures in art history.

The venue has a total surface area of 2,800sqm and its exhibitions have been designed to complement the unique architecture of the site – its seventeen-metre-high walls.

In addition to the immersive exhibitions that focus on classical and modern artists, an area will be devoted to the exhibition of contemporary art.

Bruno Monnier, President of Culturespaces, said: “Following the creation of our digital art centres in France, we are pleased to create this new one for the City of Amsterdam. The Fabrique des Lumieres will offer visitors of Netherlands an unforgettable immersive and sensorial artistic experience.”
