Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex are offering special viewing packages for the upcoming Artemis I launch.

The packages went on sale this week for a launch which is targeted for no earlier than 29 August. Kennedy Space Centre have set a launch window of between 8:33 to 10:33 a.m.

Guests will have the opportunity to see a summer space spectacle to see the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket lift off for its first uncrewed test flight from Launchpad 39B.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex ‘offers some of the closest public launch viewing opportunities with distinctive experiences such as live commentary from space experts and access to select exhibits and attractions.’

There are three packages available for visitors: Feel the Heat, Feel the Fun and a General Launch Package, each offering different services on the day of the launch.

To whet the appetite of guests pre-launch, visitors will be able to view Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex at the SLS rocket scale model and the flight-flown Orion Exploration Flight Test-1 capsule; an integral part of the Artemis mission.
