Tokyo Disney Resort – the Japan-based operator of the ubiquitous media and attractions brand, Disney – has reported a slight drop in projected visitor numbers to its Tokyo Disneyland Park and Tokyo DisneySea Park venues for fiscal 2010.
The combined attendance at both sites was 25.8 million, up 0.9 per cent – or 218,000 visitors – on the figure estimated at the beginning of the fiscal year.
While the results represent a five per cent dip on last year, it trumped analysts’ expectations, and remains the second highest in the group’s history.
