Leofoo Village attracted 120,000 visitors in July, down 10,000 from the same period last year, while Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village had 60,000 visitors, down from 70,000 last year.

The National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium recorded a massive 45 per cent decline in visitors for the month, logging just 110,000 over last year’s 200,000.

Statistics provided by the Tourism Bureau show that Taiwan’s 23 major theme parks have registered a combined 16 per cent drop in the number of tourists in the first half of 2007 from the same period last year.
