Butlin’s will unveil a new-look fairground at its Skegness Resort in 2023.

The new fairground will have four new rides and will include a ‘first of its kind’ attraction.

The new rides will open during Easter 2023 and the fairground will feature new rides alongside refurbished popular attractions.

The fairground will feature music, lights and food stalls. The food and drink venue will serve fairground treats including candyfloss and ice cream, hotdogs and doughnuts.

There will be 12 rides to enjoy in 2023 with the four new additions being Eclipse, which will be a first of its kind in the UK. Riders will be seated back-to-back, with legs dangling below, as the two arms intertwine for a gravity-driven experience.

Orbiter will allow riders to reach new heights with a bird’s-eye view of the Skegness resort as thrill-seekers are lifted to the top of the 15-meter tower. The ride will do a yo yo and light up upon its descent.

The Santa Fe Train is a classic train ride from Butlin’s yesteryear with four covered carriages offering a enjoyable journey for all the family.

And Super Swing is geared up for youngsters to swing 27 degrees. This stomach-floating ride lights up as it accelerates.

The new-look fairground will open alongside SKYPARK, a new playground coming as part of a major investment into the Skegness resort. Alex Saul, Skegness Resort Director Skegness said: “We’re delighted to be revamping our fairground on resort.

“There’s so much coming to Skegness in 2023 with four new rides, a new epic playground in SKYPARK and incredible new live entertainment. What’s best is they’re all included in the price!”
