“This is truly an international event that brings together all of the industry’s worldwide leaders,” commented Bill Alter, tournament co-chair and president of Alter Enterprises. “People have travelled as far as 12,000 miles to be here.”

The tournament includes the “Rider Cup” competition, which is based on the PGA’s Ryder Cup, but modified to pay homage to the industry’s famous thrill rides. Each player’s score is entered into a competition that then pits the top 12 scorers from the US against the top 12 from the rest of the world. Winners on this occasion were a team from the US.
