Guests visiting the popular fairy-tale theme park Efteling in Holland over the Easter weekend were able to enjoy the park’s much-loved classic car ride De Oude Tufferbaan.

The popular car ride for youngsters reopened in time for the extended weekend following a two-month renovation project.

The renovations to the family attraction included new cars and trucks replacing the classic T-Fords and the installation of a new operating system.

The revamped ride now has interactive scenes that young drivers can drive along to, including a series of farm animals that react when a vehicle’s horn is beeped.

Once children have participated in the ride, they can now own their own special driver’s license.

Efteling is located in Kaatsheuvel in the Netherlands. The fantasy-themed park features rides and attractions focused on ancient fairy-tales, myths and legends.

The park opened in 1952, evolving from the nature park with a playground and a fairy-tale forest into a comprehensive theme park.
