Construction has begun of the Zhongyuan Sunac Cultural Tourism City, located in Xinxiang city, Henan Province, China.
The project has a total investment of 5 billion yuan. The site expands over 200,000 sq. mt. Zhongyuan Sunac Cultural Tourism City will be the largest cultural tourism leisure complex in central China.
Ice and snow sports will be a primary feature of the site, which is due to be put into operation by the end of 2022.
Zhongyuan Sunac Cultural Tourism City will feature eight themed areas, including Snow World, Ice Park and Water World. Snow World will be the largest and most comprehensive indoor ski resort in central China.
As of May 2020, Sunac Central Holdings, a property developer headquartered in Tianjin, China, has developed 11 cultural tourism cities, four tourist resorts, eight convention and exhibition centers and 25 cultural tourism towns, including 40 theme parks, 46 business quarters, and nearly 150 high-end hotels.
