Quassy Amusement & Waterpark in Middlebury, Connecticut, has begun the construction of a new water attraction.

The state-of-the-art water raft is being built at the site of the former Lakeside Pavilion at the amusement and waterpark. The Lakeside Pavilion was dismantled by a construction team.

The name of the new water attraction is not yet known. It is however due to be operational in spring next year, when Quassy’s Splash Away Bay waterpark opens for the 2022 season.

The water coaster will be the largest investment Quassy has made in its 114-year history. It will mean Splash Away Bay is home to a total of 16 waterslides.

The new water raft is being provided by ProSlide Technology of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
