Attraction management platform innovator Convious has diversified its reach in the German market by signing three new partners who represent different areas of the leisure industry.

These are Freizeitpark Plohn amusement park in Saxony, Erlebnispark Tripsdrill wildlife and theme park in Baden-Wuerttemberg and Rössler-Linie boat tour operator in Rüdesheim.

Convious is working with each destination to futureproof its business operations through the implementation of its all-in-one e-commerce platform.

The AI-based platform gives them the tools to personalize the guest experience throughout the entire journey, from initial online interactions through to the physical visit and maintaining communications afterward, encouraging repeat visitation.

Werner Dullmaier, managing director for the DACH region at Convious explains: “We are growing extremely quickly across all European territories and Germany is an important market for us. These three new partners, who join 40 existing leisure businesses already using Convious in Germany, show the diversity and flexibility of the Convious technological offer.

“Our scalable platform has been designed to meet the needs of both large and small amusement and theme parks as well as zoos and event providers.”

All three leisure companies have signed multi-year contracts to effectively map their entire digital customer journey in the future and make it part of their guests’ overall experience.

Freizeitpark Plohn theme park has over 80 attractions set amongst eight themed worlds, including six roller coasters.

Tripsdrill wildlife and theme park will be going live with Convious in 2023. Founded in 1929, Tripsdrill was Germany’s first adventure park and has experiences that span the generations.

Seventh-generation family business Rössler-Linie has four ships that undertake castle tours, trips to the Loreley as well as boat trips to the Rhine in Flames. The vessels can also be for private parties and celebrations.

Tim Olsteiner and Alexander Schulte, both DACH region business development managers at Convious, were responsible for the new partners and were convinced from the very first moment that they had the right solution for these leisure companies: “We are already looking forward to further developing digital ticketing and e-commerce together with the new partners in order to offer our partners’ guests an even better visitor experience.”
