Disneyland Paris has revealed plans for its 30th anniversary celebrations.

Festivities for the milestone will kick off on March 6, 2022, with new shows, special food and drink and a raft of surprises for guests.

A new daytime show will be performed several times a day on the Central Plaza in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. The show will see Mickey Mouse and 30 other much-loved Disney characters and dancers’ parade on colourful floats.

Illuminations will take place every night throughout the celebrations, lighting up the iconic castle. Known as the Disney D-Light, the illuminations will use video projections, illuminated water jets, lighting effects, mist and famous Disney songs.

More than 200 drones will also be utilised for a special choreography spectacle above the castle.

The anniversary festivities will also see the arrival of a new attraction known as Gardens of Wonder. Disneyland Park will feature new Gardens of Wonder with ten different themed gardens at the foot at the Sleeping Beauty Castle.30 art sculptures will pay tribute to 30 different Disney and Pixar characters.

In the summer, fans of superheroes will be able to meander round the new Avengers Campus, complete with restaurants, a shop and new attractions, as well as selfie photo opportunities with much-loved Marvel characters.
