Scandinavia’s biggest summer amusement park began its 2018 season recently and guests can expect two new family-friendly attractions.

The season at Djurs Sommerland in Denmark started on April 27. The new additions are the Jungle Rally family children’s coaster by Zierer (above) and a Crazy Bus ride called Safaribussen. Together they represent an investment of €2 million ($2.35m).

Located near the city of Aarhus, Djurs Sommerland features more than 60 rides for kids of all ages, as well as a separate waterpark. New in 2017 was DrageKongen by Intamin, Europe’s fastest and longest family suspended rollercoaster.

Also popular with thrill-seekers is the double launch coaster Juvelen, featuring quad bike themed ride vehicles. It too was supplied by Intamin. And for thrills with an added splash theres is the Mack Rides water coaster Piraten. Meanwhile the farm themed Bondegårdsland features 10 family-friendly rides and attractions.
