On Friday March 15, 2019, Dollywood opened its doors to its 34th season in what will mark the biggest year in the park’s history.

This momentous year for the popular Dollywood Theme Park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, will include the opening of the largest addition in the park’s history – the $37 million Wildwood Grove area, featuring an award-winning range of spectacular shows, festival offering and memorable experiences.

In a special preview day for Dollywood season passholders, visitors enjoyed a surprise visit from the legendary Dolly Parton.

From now until April 14, 2019, the Festival of Nations is being held at Dollywood, which allows visitors to travel the world without leaving the Smokies. This exciting festival event features cultures from around the world ascending on the park to celebrate music, dance, food and art from across the globe.

A thrilling line-up of internationally-recognized performing groups are coming to Dollywood for the first time in 2019.

Bringing unique, high-energy performances are headliners Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba and Drum Struck. Several inspiring acts will be returning to the Dollywood stage, allowing guests to reconnect with old friends.

From May 24 until June 2, 2019, Dollywood’s Barbeque & Bluegrass will provide visitors with 10 days of toe tappin’ music served up alongside some of the tastiest pulled pork, barbequed chicken and traditional sides anywhere!

The Barbecue & Bluegrass festival features an impressive bluegrass line-up with a series of free daily concerts from a collection of talented performers.

From June 22 – August 4, 2019, Dollywood’s Summer Celebration will be taking place, giving families an unmissable chance to ride Dollywood’s world-class roller coasters, including Lightning Rod and Wild Eagle.

With the opening of the much-awaited Wildwood Grove, families can bask in a colourful kaleidoscope of summer fun as the area glows to life when the sun sets.

Each evening ends with a spectacular fireworks extravaganza that lights up the night sky.
