Created in conjunction with HIT Entertainment, which owns the brand rights, and designed and themed by RMA, Thomas Land covers approximately three acres of the Staffordshire-based park and is the first attraction of its kind in Europe. The only other such attraction anywhere in the world is the first Thomas Land, which opened in Japan in 1998.

The central feature of the new area is Knapford Station from where Thomas and Percy will provide rides down to Tidmouth Hault, in the park’s zoo area. In total, Thomas Land features 12 themed rides, including Cranky’s Drop Tower, Harold’s Heli-Tours, Terence’s Driving School and the Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster, supplied by manufacturers including Gerstlauer, Zamperla, Metallbau Emmeln and SB International.

The ride will be publicly unveiled on Saturday, March 15, by a six-year-old pupil from nearby Sutton Coldfield…called Thomas Land!
