Among the plans for the Aquaria Entertainment City are water themed rides and attractions, a waterpark, museums, a convention centre, restaurants, and a golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II.

"A world class ‘entertainment city’ in Israel will soften the international image of Israel, promote the country as a global leisure destination, and fortify Eilat in its competition with Taba, Sharm-El-Sheikh and Aqaba in Eilat’s strategy to become the ‘Heart of the Red Sea Riviera’," said Joseph Bernstein, of New York-based real estate developer Americas Partners, one of the companies behind the project.
