The Text-Q system allows mobile phone users to reserve their place in line on their preferred rides, from anywhere in the park. Visitors purchase credits which they use to obtain places in a virtual queue. The ride times are advised using the SMS service so Text-Q users are given more time to enjoy other areas of the park while they wait.

"Our customers tell us that the most negative issue in regards to visiting a Theme Park is queuing and queuing times," said Flamingo Land CEO Gordon Gibb. "With the fantastic technology that Lo-Q provide Flamingo Land, we are able to remove one of the only obstacles which may prevent some potential customers from visiting us."
