A new interactive attraction site featuring gaming, virtual reality and the latest products by HyperX, the gaming division of HP Inc, has opened in Mexico.

HyperX has partnered with AIC Hotel Group, to launch the immersive esports experience at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera in Mexico.

As well as gaming consoles and virtual reality, the site will play host to special guests, esport tournaments and gaming events.

The venue is the first ever HyperX Gaming Lounge. Frank Maduro, vice president of marketing at AIC Hotel Group, commented on the Gaming Lounge: “The world of gaming and esports has grown exponentially in the last few years, and we are thrilled to be ahead of the curve in our industry.”

Wendy Mecot, head of strategic alliances at HyperX, shared her excitement of the opening of the new venue.

“We’re excited to co-create a gaming experience that can be personalised for leisure travellers, with a great product and service partner in the tourism industry.

“The HyperX experience at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya gives gaming tourists of all ages an on-site gaming escape that is fun and relaxing,” Lecot added.
