The Gardaland Magic Winter event is back this year, running from December 4, 2021, to January 9, 2022, bringing lights, shows, decorations and Christmas magic to the Italian theme park.

Throughout the duration of this festive celebration, Gardaland’s main attractions will be open. The much-loved mascot, Prezzemolo, will perform ‘Welcome to Magic Winter’, accompanied by dancers.

Christmas trees, snowmen, gingerbread men and fairy-lights will line the resort’s streets. Guests will have the opportunity to visit Santa Claus in his Magic Village abode, in what is poised to be a bigger and more impressive ‘meet Santa’ experience than other years.

Other highlights include an ice-skating rink and Gardaland Memorabilia, a striking display of models of some of Gardaland’s most iconic attractions.

The show known as ‘The Fabulous Christmas Emporium’ will be held at the Gardaland Theatre, featuring a fairy-tale story with live music, dance routines, moving songs, eye-catching costumes, enchanting scenery, and more.

Younger visitors can enjoy the ‘Christmas Tree’ show at the Teatro della Fantasia, which will see Prezzemolo preparing for the festive season when he realises, he can’t find his Christmas tree!

Another key event of Gardaland Magic Winter will be the switching on ceremony at the Albero di Prezzemolo in Fantasy Kingdom, which will be adorned in thousands of lights. The event will end with the arrival of Santa Claus, immersed in a cloud of snow.
