Halloween has arrived at PortAventura World in Spain. The resort is adorned with ghosts, cobwebs, pumpkins, bats and other creepy characters, alongside a range of attractions and shows to provide guests with an interactive and memorable Halloween experience.

A series of Halloween shows are returning to PortAventura World this Halloween, including Halloween Kingdom, Bang Bang Halloween and Aves del Paraiso.

Visitors can embark on three passages of terror known as “La Isla Maldita”, Apocalipsis Maya and [REC] Experience. The experiences can be visited individually or all together with the “Halloween Passport.”

New cuisine has been added to the menu. Guests can tuck into typical Mayan cuisine at the newly opened “La Catrina” taqueria. “La Catrina” is inspired by the famous Day of the Dead character, originally from Mexican culture.

This year’s spooky festivities are the twentieth celebration of Halloween at PortAventura World. Since the year 2000, Halloween at the popular Spanish resort has been growing each year, with more shows, characters, cuisine, decorations and more added every year.

During Halloween 2020, strict health and safety measures are being implemented and followed, including physical distancing, temperature checks, reduced capacity, cashless payments and the mandatory wearing of face masks.
