Over recent years, interest among family-friendly splashpads and wetplay areas has increased among leisure facility operators.

Now, Michigan-based Adventure Golf Services (AGS) has come up with a new concept that revolutionises the game of miniature golf in a waterpark setting.

SplashGolf is mini golf played on a retrofitted splashpad. AGS recently completed its first installation on Norwegian Cruise Line’s largest ship, The Epic, and now has two models for sale: a 5,800sq.ft version and the smaller 2,800sq.ft SplashGolf Jr.

“SplashGolf is a perfect fit for waterparks, hotels, resorts, cruise ships, municipal parks, recreation facilities, military bases, campgrounds and more,” said AGS president, Scott Lundmark.

“SplashGolf can be used as ‘dry’ mini golf by simply turning off water system and putting on rubber surface. As an alternative to the rubber surface, artificial putting turf can be purchased and fit to size each golf hole.”
