Huss Park Attractions has announced the evolution of its film-based attraction, Movie Base Classic, with the development of a brand new, more compact version of the ride.

Movie Base XS is pegged as a ‘next generation’ Movie Base concept with a new and improved design.

The ‘XS’ concept alludes to the ride being smaller and more compact than the original version, although the new Movie Base attraction offers 20 per cent more capacity despite the reduction in overall footprint.

“The smaller building impact is also achieved through the floor level loading of the guests,” Huss explained. “The combination of these various elements results in significantly reduced overall construction costs.”

The impressive flight experience is created by powerful lift and tilt movements, which can give considerable g-forces to the riders. Added to this are individual 4D effects such as water, wind and scents, providing total immersion.

Passengers sit in rows of six with over the shoulder restraints, and customers can choose from a range of total capacities – 36, 72 or 108.

The Move Base XS is available from Huss as a full turnkey solution, including the audio-visual and show control system.

“Movie Base XS is an exciting new design for a flying theatre style attraction,” said Huss CEO, Mirko Schulze. “Its compact nature, attractive price position and the fact that we can deliver the ride as a complete turnkey solution is creating a lot of interest among a wide customer base.”
