IAAPA expands services in Latin America
Paulina Reyes, former general manager of the Latin America Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, has been hired to serve as executive director for the new office, which will be located in Mexico City, Mexico, and open on October 1. IAAPA Latin America will be supported by the national associations and Global Alliance partners in the region.
Reyes’ main objectives will be to represent the interests of the Latin American attractions industry and offer IAAPA products and services. Initially she will develop a dedicated section of the IAAPA web site (www.IAAPA.org/latinoamerica) for members in the region, in addition to creating an eNewsletter, online forums, and social networking opportunities specific to Latin America.
"The establishment of a regional office in Latin America, and the naming of Paulina as executive director, is a continuation of our commitment to serve the needs of our members around the world," said IAAPA president and CEO Charles Bray. "Along with management, marketing, and public relations experience within the industry, Paulina brings a tremendous knowledge of the region."
