IAAPA Expo 2021, a premier event in the attractions industry, has opened in Orlando, Florida. The highly anticipated event is being held at the Orange County Convention Centre on November 15 and will run until November 19.

More than 850 companies from around the world are exhibiting at the event, in exhibition space that extends over 375,000 sq. ft.

Over 90 educational experiences will take place throughout the week, designed for professionals within the attractions industry. Attendees are able to learn from world-renowned industry experts and make new connections to build their network on an international scale.

November 16 saw the IAAPA Brass Ring Award recipients and IAAPA Award winners including IAAPA Hall of Fame inductees, IAAPA Service Awards and the  IAAPA Young Professional of the Year, celebrated at the Opening Reception.

On November 17, the GM and Owners’ Breakfast is taking place, featuring Richard Zimmerman, president and chief executive officer of Cedar Fair Entertainment Company.

During the week, attendees are able to participate in more than 50 events, including the International Reception, Water Park Social, the Family Entertainment Centres, and much more.

Hal McEvoy, president and CEO of IAAPA, commented on the opening of the event: “We’re thrilled to bring back together, in-person, the global attractions community for IAAPA Expo.
