A new visitor attraction is opening in Manchester on July 30 in honour of ITV’s much-loved reality programme, ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.’

The attraction is named I’m a Celebrity… Jungle Challenge and is located at Manchester’s Quayside MediaCityUK. The indoor adventure destination cost £7m to construct. Visitors are tasked with navigating their way through a series of physical challenges, all of which are inspired by the iconic TV show.

The indoor amusement park will also be home to the first ever ceiling mounted Spyrider in Europe. Spyrider is a high-speed track, which takes guests above the jungle canopy in just 18 seconds.

Stephen Wild, managing director of MediaCityUK, commented on the new destination: “The arrival of this incredible attraction will bring a real sense of excitement and fun for all the family to MediaCityUK.

“ITV is already an important part of our community with the presence of the iconic experience even Coronation Street studios and the I’m a Celebrity… Jungle Challenge brings the ITV experience even closer to the public, in a unique immersive way,” said Wild.
