Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, has formed a partnership with NaVi Entertainment, a private company based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to build a theme park and a waterpark in the country using the Six Flags and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor brand names, respectively.

“Our international licensing strategy is gaining momentum and provides strong long-term upside for the company above and beyond the growth opportunity of our North America properties,” said John Duffey, president and CEO of Six Flags.

Tin Nguyen, chairman of NaVi Entertainment, added: “We are delighted to bring the Six Flags brand to Vietnam through the development of these two parks, and confident we can offer guests unique and thrilling experiences like no other in the country.”

Both parks are expected to open in the next three to four years.
