Developed by Intamin of Switzerland, Intimidator 305 will be the second giga-coaster – referring to the family of ultra-high coasters with a first drop of 300ft or more – ever built in North America and the tallest and fastest ride of its type on the east coast.

The lift hill will stand a towering 305ft at its highest peak. It will descend 300ft at an 85-degree angle and race along the track at speeds in excess of 90mph during its three-minute journey.

The rollercoaster takes its name from one of stock car racing’s driver Dale ‘The Intimidator’ Earnhardt. A preview of the ride can be found at
