Knott’s Berry Farm, the California-based theme park, is moving to an entirely cashless system. From November 15, the park will only operate cashless transactions.
Visitors will be able to use their debit cards, credit cards, and smart devices with Apple Pay or Google Pay to make purchases throughout the park. Accepted cards include Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover, plus most debit cards.
Cash-to-Card kiosks are located around Knott’s Berry Farm, enabling guests to transfer cash onto their cards. Monetary amounts ranging from $1 to $500 can be loaded onto cards at the kiosks.
According to the theme park, Knott’s Berry is moving to a cashless model, the allow the park to “conduct contact-less transactions, and it’s faster, safer and always secure.”
