From December 2, 2020 to January 10, 2021, the Land of Light festive event will be lighting up Longleat, the iconic stately home and safari park in Wiltshire.

Thousands of light sources will illuminate 17 themed areas across the park. The event will combine technology, art and interactive illustrations to provide a magical and memorable experience for visitors.

Lighting projections will illuminate Longleat House, with animated light displays and dancing fountains adorned across the gardens and grounds.  Guests will be able to meander through splashes of colour that are motion detected and step into a huge four-metre-tall geometric portal featuring vibrant patterns of choreographed lights.

The Longleat Santa Train will be back this year, taking guests on a voyage to Father Christmas’ woodland grotto.

New to this year’s festive event at Longleat will be a storytelling experience, where visitors can enter Santa’s den to hear stories whispered by Father Christmas himself. Young visitors on the good list will receive a special gift from Santa.

During the day, visitors will be able to enjoy the animal and adventure attractions at Longleat, including Koala Creek, the Safari Park, Jungle Cruise, Jungle Kingdom, as well as the Longleat Hedge Maze.
