Nintendo and the Lego Group have teamed up to produce a new play experience that combines Lego bricks with Super Mario.

Known as Lego Super Mario, the physical play experience will provide youngsters with a unique play experience. The product features an interactive Lego Mario figures, who collects coins in game different levels.

Talking about the new experience, Julia Goldin, chief marketing office, EVP of the Lego Group, said: “We are very excited to bring Mario into the physical world through interactive and social Lego play.

“With this experience we will help millions of kids with love for Mario to engage and play in a completely new way, where they are in control of creating and playing games with their favourite character.

“By seamlessly incorporating the latest digital technology, Lego Super Mario is a highly social, interactive and collaborative experience for kids,” Goldin continued.

Lego Super Mario is set to launch later in 2020, though exact details have yet to be announced.
