According to tourist group VisitDenmark, the new attraction is the result of a combined project involving Legoland and Lalandia, two of the country’s biggest and most popular family parks.

Elements of both attractions have been incorporated into the new resort, including Legoland’s safari areas and its Miniland zone, where famous landmarks are recreated using millions of Lego bricks.

Neighbouring Givskud Zoo and Billund airport will also be involved in collaboration with the resort, which will incorporate Lalandia attractions including the Aquadome tropical waterpark and an indoor play area.

The Legoland section of the park will feature an exhibition of famous buildings created from more than 20 million Lego bricks, a Lego safari and a new Pirate Lagoon attraction.
