Legoland Florida Resort has officially opened the Legoland Hotel, marking the expansion of the resort to become an immersive, multi-day experience for families.

The grand opening was honoured with thousands of colourful Lego mini figures blasting out of cannons atop the hotel and a child discovering a key to open the hotel built for kids.

The 152-room Legoland Hotel debuts several features unique to Legoland Florida Resort, including the only Lego Friends themed guest rooms in the US and the only Lego Friends themed suite in the world.

Legoland Hotel is also offering hotel guests exclusive access to a master model builder workshop by being the first Legoland Resort to move its model shop inside the hotel.

"Legoland Florida Resort is continuously expanding, making it an awesome place for families with children to stay for multiple days," commented general manager, Adrian Jones.

"The hotel is a fully immersive experience, with a number of exclusive features unique to Legoland Florida Resort and we're excited to welcome families to stay and play with us for the first time in Florida."
