MADGIX, creators of gamification and entertainment concepts, has launched an interactive, multi-user gamification kit.

Developed in collaboration with Alterface, manufacturer of interactive, media-based attractions around the world, the new MADGIX ScreenPLAY Kit is designed to transform non-interactive screens and spaces into vibrant play and gaming arenas.

The advanced real-time detection technology is based on Alterface’s patented camera-based detection technology known as NOMAD.

The ScreenPLAY Kit is designed to enable users to quickly plug into and install the kit onto existing hardware and software on projection systems.

MADGIX’s pioneering kit accommodates a large number of players shooting simultaneously, providing audiences at any venue with an interactive experience through a smart camera-based detection system.

Thibaut De Lestré, managing director of MADGIX, explains how the ScreenPlay Kit works.

“For the first time a multi-user interaction kit is available as an open architecture. The MADGIX ScreenPLAY Kit contains parallel independent hardware for playback and shooting detection, designed for seamless integration within existing 4D theatres and cinemas.
