Daniel Jamele has been appointed as CEO of MediaMation, the California-based pioneer in 4D technology.

After acting as the company’s vice president and chief technology officer for many years, Jamele will now take responsibility for the company’s holdings in the US and China.

Alison Jamele, former president and CEO of MediaMation, will continue her leadership as the group’s executive vice president, heading up special projects where she is harmonising the US and China activities and directing business and expansion plans.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, MediaMation is known for its wide range of interactive entertainment products for cinemas and leisure attractions.

The company recently announced an expansion of its partnership with Wanda Group to install 100 MX4D Motion EFX Theatres in China.

MediaMation opened its first location with Wanda Cinema Line, China’s biggest movie theatre operator, in the southern city of Nanning in early 2015. This was followed soon after by another in Changchun and in Wanda’s hometown of Dalian.

To date, the group has installed 39 Motion EFX Theatres in Wanda venues across China.
