Universal Beijing Resort has reveals plans to expand their theming of the films Despicable Me area through the opening of the Minion themed hotel rooms.
The rooms will be decorated in Minion-related items fit with themed amenities. The Universal Studios Grand Hotel accommodates 800 hotel rooms in total and located at the centre of the park’s entrance.
Minions have been a hit with visitors since they made their grand opening at the resort last year.
Universal Beijing already features its very own Minion Land, which allows guests to immerse into the fantastical worlds with hundreds of Minions and a series of iconic rides, including the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.
The theming for the Minions goes beyond the attractions with restaurants and exclusive merchandise part of the offering too at Universal Beijing.
Six spectacular areas join Minion Land at the Resort, these include the Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness, Transformers Metrobase, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic World Isla Nublar, Hollywood and WaterWorld.
Currently, there is no release date for when the Minion themed hotel rooms will be available.
