Silverwood Theme Park in Idaho has announced a new addition is coming to its entertainment line-up next year.

The summer of 2020 will see ‘Light Up the Night’ hosted at the park, a nightly drone light show comprising of more than 300 drones floating in the night sky behind Silverwood Theme Park.

‘Light Up the Night’ will be launched, weather permitting, in June 2020 on Boulder Beach. The show will host three variations, each with its individual theme.

On July 4, 2020, a special patriotic-themed show will be taking place, where families can gather at Silverwood and watch floating drones create inspiring formations amongst the stars.

Jordan Carter, director of marketing at Silverwood, spoke of the new show.

“We are excited to finally unveil this ground-breaking show. We are always pushing ourselves to keep improving and create an experience for our guests that is unique and unlike anything they have ever seen before,” said Carter.

Located in north Idaho, Silverwood is hailed as the Northwest’s largest theme park. What started as a steam engine train attraction for families, quickly developed, and now comprises of more than 70 rides, attractions and shows, including world-class rollercoasters.
