New family attraction to open in Zhejiang
A new visitor attraction for families is preparing to open a new family-oriented attraction in the historic scenic town of Wuzhen in the Zhejiang province of eastern China.
Designed by Jack Rouse Associates, the attraction will occupy two existing buildings approximately 30,000sq.ft in size and will feature a number of activities and educational zones.
The key component of the project is a traditional games and play area, where children can learn about and play with toys from 19th century China.
The area will include a zone known as Old Wuzhen, a scaled-down and cartooned styled version of the original, with various themed play elements, a themed water play area and a large, two-storey climbing structure and cave challenge.
The overall theming for the attraction will be based upon Chinese mythology.
