Emilio Fabico has been appointed as general manager of Camelback Lodge and Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark, the biggest waterpark in the Northeastern US.

In his role, Fabico is responsible for the overall successful operations of the 453-suite lodge and the 125,000sq.ft indoor waterpark, which opened in Tannersville, Pennsylvania, in May 2015.

Fabico’s experience and background in the hospitality and theme park industries is extensive, spanning more than 30 years. Most recently, he spent six years as general manager of Disney’s Epcot in Orlando, Florida.

The $163m, eight-storey Camelback Lodge is located at the base of Camelback Mountain and has transformed Camelback Resort into a year-round family and adventure destination.

Designed to complement the resort’s existing seasonal outdoor recreation, including Camelbeach outdoor waterpark, skiing, snowboarding, snowtubing, zip lining, a treetops obstacle course, mountain coaster and more, Camelback Lodge serves as the largest ski in/ski out indoor waterpark resort in the US.
