A new haunted house experience is one of two unique attractions coming to Halloween Nights at Toverland theme park in the Netherlands.

Known as ‘Maison de la Magie’, the mighty mansion belongs to Oscar Pendula, a world-famous illusionist who vanished from the stage in the 1930s following a disastrous illusion. Visitors brave enough to explore Maison de la Magie are taken on a petrifying tour that unveils Pendula’s darkest secrets. The Haunted House experience lasts for around 15 minutes.

Also new to this year’s Halloween Nights is a revamped scare zone. The ‘Cirque – Royal Edition’ zone has been extended and will see clowns and other circus performers navigate obstacles.

A traditional cake walk attraction has also been added to the zone. Morgana the ice witch will seize power over the Avalon themed area once more. Guests will have the chance to battle against ‘Morgana’s Frozen Knights’.

A series of walk-through experiences are returning to the theme park this year, including The Witches Forest, the Trapped maze, the Fear the Woods haunted house, and the scare zones, Des Troy, Shadows of the Sea and Fiesta de los Muertos.

Halloween Nights is taking place October 9 and 10, October 16 until 18, October 20 until 24, October 30 and 31, and November 6 and 7.
