The Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has selected Gateway Ticketing Systems as its ticketing provider.

The museum, which is set to officially open to the public on April 19, expects an annual attendance of 550,000 visitors.

Online ticket sales, which will be powered by the responsive design of Gateway’s eGalaxy Web Store, will go on sale on February 22, in honour of George Washington’s 285th birthday.

The museum will also implement Galaxy point-of-sale software for ticketing, resource management, stored value and upsell functionality as well as admission control.

“We selected Gateway Ticketing Systems for many reasons, including their extensive museum experience and their encompassing solutions that enable us to unify our operations for ticketing, admission control, and food and beverage,” says ZeeAnn Mason, chief operating officer at the Museum of the American Revolution.
