Fun Spot America in Kissimmee, central Florida, is adding a new ride in the form of a 2,250ft-long wooden coaster this summer.

According to local reports, the as-yet-unnamed ride will reach a height of 82ft and a top speed of nearly 50mph.

Speaking to the Orlando Sentinel, Fun Spot CEO John Arie said the $6m project will be the “only wooden coaster in the southeast US to include a 360-degree barrel roll”.

Fun Spot’s other location near International Drive already claims to have Orlando’s only wooden coaster with White Lightning, which opened in 2013.

“We have worked tirelessly with the Gravity Group to design a ride that will be a must-ride coaster for any thrill seeker and coaster enthusiast, definitely bucket-list worthy,” Arie said.
