Vicon, specialists in motion capture, has announced a new collaboration with Falcon’s Creative Group, a design company for entertainment destinations around the world.
The partnership is aimed at leveraging motion capture technology in innovative ways for a number of new applications within immersive and interactive experiments. It will involve Falcon’s Creative Group combining Vicon’s VFX software, Shogun, and the company’s high-performing Vero optical motion tracking cameras.
Falcon will adapt Vicon’s motion tracking technology to assist in traditional and non-traditional filmmaking, including virtual production and real-time animation. Using the motion tracking technology, Falcon will develop and deploy immersive and gamified experiences for rides, attractions, theme parks and other entertainment venues across the globe.
