Nominations for the 2019 AIMS Safety Award can now be submitted by individuals and organisations in the amusement industry. The deadline for the nominations is July 5, 2019.

The AIMS International Safety Award is presented every year to the organisation or individual which shows innovation, leadership and foresight in improving safety within the amusement industry.

Safety is the amusement sector’s leading concern and priority. Continued efforts are made to improve the safety of rides and attractions, through developments in design and the implementation of new products and technology.

The development of safety training and education is another key way safety improvements are made in the amusements industry.

The Award was founded in 2016 by AIMS International, the non-profit organisation focused on improving safety in the amusement industry through leadership in education.

The AIMS Safety Award is presented annually during the Golden Ticket Awards, which recognise the ‘best of the best’ in different aspects of the amusement industry.

The winner will be chosen by a vote of AIMS International’s board of directors. The award will be presented in Silverwood Theme Park in Athol, Idaho on September 7, during the Amusement Today Golden Ticket Awards.

Information about the AIMS Safety Award and nomination forms can be found on the AIMS website. Requests for forms can also be sent to AIMS at [email protected].
