Listen to this article

February half term is set to turn Alton Towers into swashbuckling fun with a special pirate-themed event.

From Friday February 18, the infamous pirates of Mutiny Bay will take over the resort.

A brand new SeaLife experience will see pirate characters educate and entertain the stories of sea monsters and adventure in the depths of the ocean.

Treasure hunters will be given a guided tour of hidden artefacts, sights and delights at the park, including a giant chair, a talking tree, magical musical lifts, rock carvings of characters and creatures, a time travelling ship, and portraits and paintings from Sir Algenon’s travels.

Guests will also be able to take a tropical trip to Cariba Creek at the Alton Towers Waterpark and beat the scallywag pirates on the resort’s Extraordinary Golf course.
