The much-loved PirateFest Weekends have returned to Legoland Florida Resort.

The first weekend took place on January 22 and is to run for three consecutive weekends. During the sessions, families can immerse themselves in pirate-themed activities, including exclusive meet and greet character sessions, pirate entertainment, Lego builds and special food and drink.

Walking around the resort greeting guests are Pirate Captain, Pirate Princess, Zombie Pirate and Captain Redbeard. Shark Suit Guy is also making a rare appearance. Other pirate-themed photo opportunities are put on throughout the event, including selfies with Sawtooth the Shark.

The ‘Treasure Behold’ stage show is returning to the theme park, where audiences of all ages can enjoy a crew of pirates attempting to find the legendary buried treasure inside the Lego City Stage.

Youngsters can enjoy training to be a pirate themselves in an interactive show. The weekends are topped off with the stunt packed ‘Brickbeard’s Watersports Stunt Show’ where Captain Brickbeard and Calico Jade take on pirate recruits to be immersed in the show that features wakeboarding, barefoot skiing and even a flying boarding act.
