EAG International 2014 is once again set to position itself as the amusement and attractions industry's launch event for the New Year.

With stand bookings ahead of previous years and many operators reporting positive results for the summer season, the organisers of EAG International have noticed a new spirit of cautious optimism amongst the show's participants.

Organiser Karen Cooke commented: "Now entering its fifth year, EAG International prides itself on its distinction of being a show for the industry put on by the industry.

"Despite being launched in a period of economic recession, the show has continued to grow thanks to the support of exhibitors, trade associations and visiting professionals from the amusement and attractions sectors.

"The indications are that the 2014 show will continue to establish EAG International's position as a truly unmissable event," Cooke said.

EAG 2014 takes place at the ExCeL centre in London, UK, on January 21-23. Up to now, the event has enjoyed exclusive use of ExCeL's London's world-class facilities, but the 2014 expo will now share the venue with another trade show.

"Visitors will notice much more of a buzz around the ExCeL campus, with more visitors, additional restaurants and other facilities open to cope with the demand," Cooke explained.

"However, exhibitors should not be inconvenienced as ExCeL's traffic and drayage facilities will be resourced accordingly and are more than able to cope with the increased throughput."
